The final layer that brings a space to life.

Thoughtfully curated objects, books, ceramics, greenery and textiles for NYC corporate workplaces, commercial furniture installs and furnished private homes.

For NYC workplaces

Workplace refresh without the renovation.

Most offices are nearly finished. The desks, lighting and millwork are in place, and the space still feels cold.

Styling is the final layer: the books, ceramics, glassware, art and greenery that make a room feel hosted rather than issued. It is the part clients and teams actually notice, and it changes how a floor feels without touching the architecture.

Installed in days, on your schedule.

Planned around your calendar and installed in a matter of days, not a construction schedule.

Costs a fraction of a renovation.

Nothing is demolished or rebuilt. You keep the architecture you invested in, and finish it properly.

The work day carries on.

Installation is scheduled around your team, so the work day carries on as usual.

The same eye for the office and the home

Marisa works for two kinds of client: companies that want a floor to feel hosted, and families who want a furnished house to feel finished.

At work

In corporate offices, banks and executive floors across New York City, she styles client-facing cafés and hospitality bars with glassware, stoneware, monographs and sculptural vessels. She dresses executive suites, boardrooms and reception with built-in shelving, consoles, art and greenery, and she finishes newly installed offices and spec suites for furniture dealers and design teams, right up to handover and photography.

At home

In furnished houses from Short Hills and Westfield to Hoboken and Long Beach Island, she curates built-ins and bookcases around personal collections, art books and ceramics. She styles coffee tables, bars, consoles and entryways, and adds the soft layers: custom drapery, pillows, throws and rugs.

The method does not change between the two. She works with what is already there, and sources only what is missing.

The last 10% of an install creates 80% of the warmth.

You deliver the contract furniture and millwork. Marisa arrives at the finish line to curate, procure and install every shelf, hospitality bar, reception console and lounge, so the space is warm and ready to photograph on handover day.

There is no channel conflict. Your team owns the architecture, space planning and contract FF&E, and your designers stay the designers of record. Marisa handles only the accessory layer that makes the work look its best.

It is one vendor from start to finish. Sourcing, procurement, delivery and white-glove installation come with a single point of contact and a single invoice.

It is photo-ready on day one. Shelves, cafés and lounges are styled right before client handover and architectural photography.

About Marisa

Before she styled rooms, Marisa spent years inside corporate offices.

It is why executive teams find her easy to work with. She understands standards, timelines, budgets and approvals, and she knows how much restraint it takes to make a room feel personal.

She founded Style Studio to bring both to workplaces and homes.

Every project starts with the people behind the space: what they are drawn to, how they use it, and which pieces already mean something. Then she works with what is there and sources what is missing.
